Cost

The program fee for the two-week Permaculture Design Certification Course is $1,200.

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNTS!

  • Take $200.00 off the program fee for registration before January 10, 2014 (does not apply to work/trade students).
  • Take $100.00 off the program fee for registration before Feb 7th, 2014 (does not apply to work/trade students).

A $300.00 deposit is due with application.

Program Fee

Fee includes 82 hours of instruction and hands-on workshops, 18 hours of hands-on project experience, 10 hours of supervised group design time, permaculture certification, course handbook and lodging (outdoor camping), and meals for the entire course period.

Work Trade

A limited number of work exchange positions are available. We award these positions to course registrants based on demonstrated financial need. Participants receive a $300 reduction in course fees in exchange for 30 hours assisting with projects for The Lyons Farmette or Yummy Yards. If you would like to be considered for a work exchange position please complete the Work Trade Application and submit with your registration materials.

Permaculture Credit Union

The Permaculture Credit Union offers loans for students who wish to take a Permaculture Design Course and cannot afford the program fees.  Many loans are approved and money sent within 72 hours.  Call 866-954-3479 to talk to a credit union representative or apply online at: http://www.pcuonline.org/home
